R.I.P to the 10-second backcourt violation

I know after the Rutgers game last year, that I shouldn't complain, but:

Has anyone else noticed that it's now two games in a row where our opponent has committed a clear 10-second violation in the backcourt (more like 11 or 12 seconds) that wasen't called, and the possesion resulted in 2 points for our opponent? And, Texas A & M won that game by 1 point, which really hurt (I know we should have won anyway, but still...).

Last night's was made worse by the fact that there was a clear offensive goaltend on that possesion, but the refs allowed the hoop, saying goaltending on Pointer, which was BS, since a good 1 full second had gone off the clock after he touched it.

These refs need to wake up, and watch the clock.

refs don't stare at the clock, they count 10 seconds.

Well, they are counting very, very slowly, and it's to our detremint.

Tux's idea is a good one, but I don't know exactly how that can be implemented, cause the one that just crosses in time might get called for a violation.

Buzzer goes off and the ball still hasnt crossed the midcourt line it's a violation. It should make it easier for officials unless of course it's Higgins in which case nothing would work.

Just like when special guest referee Gorilla Monsoon screwed Jesse Ventura out of a victory over Bob Backlund.

I'm pretty sure I saw Braica coming through the ropes to distract the ref so he missed the tag, I mean the violation. I think he was a big Valiant Brothers fan growing up.

But Mike Dunlap had a foreign object in his trunks.

Was Mike Dunlap the Iron Sheik in a former life?

No... Nikolai Volkoff... Much more stoic.
