Quick Chat With Coach Lavin

 Yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing Coach in lower Manhattan (he was with Earl Watson and another guy but I only remember his name as Steve). I gave him a quick hello and congratulated him on last year's season and we had a very pleasant quick chat about the upcoming season. I can't even put into words how cool this guy is. He took the time to introduce me to Steve & Earl, talked about the upcoming season, the schedule and even asked if I had gone to any games last year and if I plan on attending games this year (2 obvious yes answers). I wished him all the best regarding his health as well as the upcoming year. He was just super friendly and classy. Can't wait for the season to start.

I've also had the chance to meet Lavin on a couple of occasions. He's a very friendly and approachable dude. I had the chance to converse with him for about 15 minutes over a year ago.

I've had a couple of chats with Coach Lavin and what impressed me most was his ability to stay focused on what you had to say to the exclusion of all else.. A rare quality in successful busy people.
