Quick Chat With Coach Lavin

 I was lucky enough to bump into coach Lavin earlier today and have a brief chat with him. To begin with, he looks great and was very excited about today's news. He is very optimistic about our chances of another stellar class. He said he probably could have returned to coaching about a month ago but didnt want to risk another setback but he will be ready and at full strength next year. As always he was the nicest guy you could ever stop and say hello to. Can't wait for next season.

Well isn't that rich. You and Lavin having a few yucks. I am glad to see Lavin is healthy enough to recruit posters for redmen.com, instead of HS kids with basketball talent. In the time Lavin wasted talking to you about Sampson -- which is quite frankly yesterday's news -- he could have been out trying to recruit some size. I don't know if anyone else sees this, but my NBA contact has told me point blank we are not a tall team. Lavin must understand this: he is in the big city now. Resting on your laurels will get you killed here. We are not podunk!

You're right Kranmars, it is yesterday's news which is why I posted it yesterday. I can only hope the rest of your reply was intended to be funny. For the record, Lavin wouldn't recruit me even as a poster for this site, I am only 6'3, so I can't help in the height department : )
