Ok Nuri is gone it stinks for the program, but it is not worth keeping a person on the roster who is unhappy etc, let's all move on. With that said, I have a few questions for the posters on the board, please feel free to provide answers etc.

When will Amir Garrett join the team? Will he be here for the Fordham game on Dec 17th?

Secondly The starting 5 I see as

God' Gift C
Moe Harkless PF
Sir Dom Pointer SF
D'Angelo Harrison SG
Phil Greene -PG

Malik Stith 6th man backup PG, can fill minutes for Greene/Harrison like he's been doing.

Without Garrett, we are toast harkless gets 2 quick fouls early, we are short and very thin.

Which leads to my next question, the walk on's does searcy, Jamal White etc, do they have any ability?

Thanks,

Garrett, I believe, if all goes well (and I think it will), can begin practicing on Mon. 12/19, and can play in the game 2 days later vs. UTPA.

As far as the Fordham game goes, I'm guessing that White is going to get some fill-in minutes in the first half. Possible Sealy-James, too, if only because of his height.

Gaston is going to kill us inside, but that would have been the case even with Lindsey here. We can still win the game, provided Fordham doesn't shoot like they did in the second half against us last year (stopping that is always a big if with our defense, though).

I would hate to lose to them again...as bad as they are...

Here I was dreaming of New Orleans and the Final Four and now we have to worry about losing to
Fordham.

Manhattan beat Fordham by 34 points.
The Rams lost to common opponent Lehigh by 18.
I am not worried.

And last year they lost the next 18 games after beating us and wound up with only 1 more win all season so you never know.

If Garrett is available in 10 days, I'd venture to guess we could get Cummings soon too.

Actually, I think they won the next game after us, then went on that long losing streak, but that's cemantics. Playing us means the season to them. You're best hope is for that to work against them, where hopefully Fordham is doing too much, and forcing it.
