question about hines

anyone know why hines was the choice over keady. a i missing something is keady not allowed to do it. i thought he was the logical person to takeover
 
If I am not mistaken, I think Keady is not allowed to actually participate in coaching duties since he is hired as a "special assistant" instead of an actual assistant head coach. Can anyone confirm?

I have a question about Hines, why didnt he try man vs Cuse? And will be switch up the D tonight ?
 
Keady is not a coach. He is an adviser to Lavin.

He is the coach's coach, and from several articles that i have read I believe he cannot say anything in practice or games to the players he just instructs the coaching staff.
