Gempehaw should be in same room...

I realize there won't be answers of substance to anything but would love to hear you wishlist questions...here's a few of mine just for fun.

1. How long do you intend to operate w/o a full time, experienced AD ?

2. Is there any legit discussion w/ President & Board about further improvements or larger scale overhaul to CA in case program does improve as expected?

3. Mullin if you are sucessful in this rebuild phase, do you envision coaching past the original length of contract ?

4. In what ways do you see getting the students and local youth more engaged w/ SJU athletics to have a steady stream of future support ?

"Interim AD" speaks volumes, but if they split job up it will be even more ridiculous. Beating a dead horse, but the notion of having an inexperienced person at the helm in any form is shameful. Since Ed M., we have been below par in appreciating the importance of experience & competence in the role.

Re Q's #1 and # 2 you can attend the brunch and ask him. Both are legitimate issues.

I would hope that the Q&A would be "streamed" and that one could email questions if you can't be there in person.

Don't know if that will happen but Bobby is being far more "alumni friendly" than some of our past administrations.

#1 might offend a certain someone in the room.

Prob a typo but Mullin got his undergrad degree in 98, not an mba. Probably person writing this saw CBA and "corrected" to MBA.

This is what happens when athletic dept is shrunk to 1/3 its size.

president gempasaw was there listening. plenty of questions were asked. alot had to do about conference realignment and facilities.

.........and the comments regarding conference realignment, facilities, coaches and their status (slice), interim AD issue? ?????

I did not attend but no one here seems to be able to provide a summary?!?!?

Conf realignment-Mo loves new BE and playing everyone twice to build rivalries, baseball coach doesn't like it cause conf weaker and lost southern teams, women's volleyball likes it. No discussions to bring back football on any level, too expensive. Saw the steaming version and didn't hear anything on the AD position. Mo loves the two transfers, Simon and Clark. In summary you didn't miss much.
