Putting the ball in the hoop

What I see is.... we do not have anybody with there back to the basket who can score in the paint or kick it out for a jumper.

Are we ever going to run plays for Max and Marc so they come off a screen for a clean shot?

We need a better plan. Any thoughts from the group?

Hard screens/picks. Guys like Sanchez and Jakarr are certainly big enough, but 9 times out of 10 our screeners set up a good 6+ ft away from the defender, and roll to the side before there's ever any contact.

We have guys like Jordan and Harrison, and even Phil and Dom, who can be great slashers, but somebody has to start setting hard picks to give them some space to drive.

Off the ball, I think the same thing can be said. But I just don't know Marco and Hoop are quick enough to take advantage of even a good screen. Dangelo is a different story, every time he runs across the lane someone needs to step in front of his man. If it means taking a foul once in a while, it's worth it. Defenders will start looking to the side and try to avoid contact by playing softer.

Our big men definitely didn't set good screens last year your right. Let's hope added bulk by Obekpa helps.

What, no faith in Obekpa's jump hook? Read he's been working on it. Or Sanchez hook?
