I hate to say this, but nobody should go to this game if anyone wants to see any future improvement. I would think money is the one thing this organization notices.

Those with season tickets have already paid up, and I believe that MSG gets all the money from concessions. That means the only thing left is team apparel, which not many people buy at our games, anyway. Most who do, do so for little kids, and how are you going to turn them down?

That leaves only the Creighton game at CA, but that's bobblehead night. We could have Louisville's record, and I'd still go to that game.

I do not agree that just because the team struggles you withhold support or don't go to the games (of course, if you have no interest, you don't have to go, but to me, I don't agree to do so as a "statement"). The program is not an "organization", and I get the frustration, but it's not the same as rooting for a professional sport team.

could be a really bad game. a packed garden with friars fans. "Johnnies Day" will not go well and it will be in front of Father Shanley. I hope I am wrong.

PC is a solidly coached team but not the type of team that will blow anyone out. They don’t rely on a Helter Skelter type of D or O and have a deliberate style of play. A win here is not out of the question but the coaching ability is pretty one sided so PC will have to play very poorly for a chance for them to lose.

The only real question, once again, is who does Fr. Shanley root for? 🤪

i didn't think there would be a showing for the Gtown game... but crowd was decent... since then... losses to Creighton / Hall/ Butler... fan interest has to be at an all-time low... School is doing a bunch of rah-rah stuff in Penn Station before the game- which is nice... but not optimistic at the turn-out...

Maybe this is what Shanley needs to see to truly move him to make a change... His former school, coming into his house... and smacking us around... don't want it to be that way, but it might be a catalyst for change.

Shanley sees what we see and per a guy highly connected to SJU is a true CEO. Guys of that caliber and experience make tough decisions. This will be an end of season process it appears, which is appropriate.

The subsequent decision on who to hire will be a challenge. The splash hire many want seems folly, so of course the level of candidates like Boyntons, Jones, Langels of the world come with some risk. Sure fire success types won’t be knocking our door down. Shanley first needs to stop the bleeding and find a guy who checks a lot of boxes, but not perfect. Shanley took a risk with Ed Cooley who had reasonable success at Fairfield, not an easy place to make some noise. Perhaps he can replicate that. 🤞

SJU just doesn’t get it. AnyJohnnies day celebration should be held during the OOC schedule. By the time Feb rolls around it is “ who cares “ time with the season over.

Don't be fooled by people in the stands. There has been some serious papering of the house all season. Which is fine with me, but for those outraged at home people telling others what to do with their free time in the winter - you can stand down.

1. - Nobody is buying SJU tickets at retail right now. Few are buying at wholesale.

2. - The coach is gone at the end of the season. There is nothing to protest. Does anyone think that there is a correlation between empty seats on Saturday and who the replacement hire would be? That is quite a leap.

I'll be there for my Bobblehead--hope they give them out when we arrive so we can pick it up and leave to go to dinner some where. I have a nightmare it will be a CMA Bobblehead.😧😨🤬

I have my CMA Bobblehead on a shelf with my Carnesecca, Mullin, and Lavin Bobbleheads. Soon I'm going to need a bigger shelf.

Maybe it's Norm this year.

there is an 1870 event at 10:30 at stout. I told my 114 guys the other days that's too early for me. Now I think I might go
Mike, you're going to need to drink a lot before this game if you are attending. You should go. ;)
