The Ladies are tipping off against Providence today at 11 a.m. Eastern. The game is a "sellout" because it is Field Trip day for kids from local schools. Great move by the Athletic department.

Very sorry to say but next two games are absolute must wins.
Handford should become the schools all time leading scorer today.
Go ladies.

Can you share the current status of team & your expectations please...
Thanks

Women win 69-54 for I believe their 20 th.
To respond to the General they should have done a little better. We have 2 of the top 3-4 players in the big east. Not sure what is wrong but team not achieving what they are capable of. 2-3 more wins this season would have been perfect. I hope my answer suffices. Next season everyone must step up if we are to continue our strong play thesis last 4 years failing which we may be in for a long season.

FWIW, Charlie Creme has them as a 9 seed, as of Monday morning. This was our first game since then.

Just found out Jade Walker didn't play today , knee, so this makes today's win that much better. Also Akina Weelare had her nose broke in the game. Hope they will be able to play on Sunday. We need to win on Sunday.

On a positive note Aliyah Handford had 27 points and is now the all time scoring leader for the women's program. Congrats Aliyah.
Keep it up.
