Pissed that we didn't win and the game was there for the taking. I think it was promising that we had a bad game and could have beat a top 10 team in their building. Too many missed opportunities.

I think we are going to smack down Xavier on tuesday.

At least it was a fun time with my msg 114 crew who all game down. We ended up in the student section so I guess you could say we are kind of the chaperones of the section and I have to say the students did a great job and were very enthusiastic

After the game one of my friends and I decided to drown our sorrows in Cheesesteak. So while my original plan was to buy one from Pat's and one from Geno's and eat 1 and take 1 home to sample I decided to eat both there since it was a nice day. Pat's wins hands down in my book

Lastly after avoiding 100,000 potholes in 7 hours of driving today I freaking blow out a tire 2 miles from my g-d damn house. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I hate that kid. Since I can never pronounce or spell his name I just call him Arch Nemesis

Also visited Pat's for a classic steak. Also avoided but hit many potholes both coming and going. Finally I would like to
say it is always good to see fellow Johnnie fans. Was at reception where I met NYCRedmen who came down with
Simply Red. Kevin (Jerseyshorejohnny) and his wife Joann were wonderful as always, and all the other fans who I spoke
with but did not have a formal introduction. All in all a great turnout and a good time despite the loss. The camaraderie
is what carries us through. Their is always going to be wins and losses.
Would also like to say hello, to Jack Clark, longtime teacher at St. John's who make the trip and recalled a game against
Temple in Philadelphia back in 1952. Great stuff.

I usually get down to the garden once a year and go to the game at nova once a year since I live so close. I'm bummed I couldn't make it yesterday.

Salty you went after the game to Pat's ? We must have just missed you. Big line but the line at Pat's moved quicker than the line at Geno's

Guys, next year I will steer you to better cheesesteak places in Philly. Both Pats and Genos are tourist traps.
As for the potholes. This year is the worst that I can remember....by far. I hit one on the approach to the Turnpike 2 weeks ago...I'm shocked that my freaking wheel didn't fall off...much less get a flat tire.

what other places are good ? I actually liked Pat's a lot. Geno's wasn't bad just not nearly as good as Pat's

Have you ever been to the place in the terminal market that Weathermannyc was going to after the game that has some sort of pork, broccoli rabe and cheese sandwhich that was on man vs food but by the time weatherman got there they were out of them ?

You're thinking of Johns, on Snyder Avenue in South Philly. Incredible roast pork sandwiches there.
In the Reading terminal market is Carmens and Spadaros. Both are good. I prefer Race Street Pizza for my steaks.
