Yeah, we would all do well to listen to the old advice "Don't get too high after a win, or low after a loss". The home losses to Rutgers and the Hoyas were hard to take, for different reasons.
I expect us to win on Weds vs DeP. If we can sneak one of the following four (Hoyas, Huskies, Orange, Cardinals), that would be something. The remaining stretch does not look too intimidating (ND and Marquette aside): maybe 3 wins out of 5? That gives us 10 wins in the BE by going 5-5 in last ten games (18 wins overall). A run in the BE Tourney and who knows?
Although the oppostion in the last three games has not been great, you can only beat what is in front of you and we have been playing better as a unit and executing on the small things. We have athleticism and desire which helps overcome some other deficiencies. The turnaround since the Hoya game has been very pleasing. I just hope we are practising our free-throws late into the evening...
BTW, I went to the TCU / Baylor game on Sat and we should not be too upset by our loss to Baylor. They are a solid team, although at the Frogs held our friend Heslip to two 3's (you know, the guy that torched us for eight 3's). That is another thing we are doing better: getting a hand in the face of the hot outside shooter.
