Problem Closing Games/Squandering Leads

Article touches on it perfectly. There's just no alpha on this team that can get a bucket when needed.

Ledlum, Dingle, and Jenkins have all missed multiple very makable shots in huge situations starting with the UConn game.

It seems the play/shot Pitino is most confident in is the Jenkins pull up from the elbow. He's called it twice in big spots coming out of timeouts. Unfortunately it's a very inefficient shot.

Too easy for defenses to get the ball out of Soriano's hands on the block if we throw it to him.

Luis may be the go-to-guy next year (and probably should be going forward this year) but definitely has flaws with his tunnel vision and forcing up tough shots when opponent is in good defensive position.

After listening to Pitino's annoyance with Luis' practice regimen, I wonder if he starts getting more looks in end of games situation if he's able to practice more
