We know our full roster and our ooc schedule

Vs Wagner W
Vs UMBC W
Vs Rutgers W
Vs Vandy W (Yeah I know Vandy could be a top 25 team, but I'm picking SJU in a surprise win)
Vs Indiana L (A 15-20pnt loss, to humble them a little.)
Vs TBA W (Lovett light it up for 36pnts while getting 7assists, after a bad game vs IU)
@ Fordham W ( up only 3 with just under 5minutes but wins by 16)
Vs. St Francis W
Vs. Syracuse L (Youngest team in the country loses by 8 after being down 23 with 15minutes left in the game, and give kudos to the SJU fans for coming out. 50-50% SJU-SU fans, and they chant "WE ARE ST. JOHN'S" after the young bucks made us proud by not giving up.
Vs Incarnation Word W
Vs NJIT W
Vs S Carolina W

I could certainly see 10-2 in the preseason, the schedule isn't killer

I agree with oldschool, non conference schedule is something this team can handle. Vanderbilt is beatable even for a young squad, only sure losses I see are Indiana and Cuse

conference play is where i see us getting beat up, I see a 5-13 record there, but non conference we could be 10-2 9-3

Other than a few moments of Johnson 2 years ago, most have never seen anyone on the team play, let alone together and no one has ever seen Mullin coach. Not sure how you can predict anything at this point? While being optimistic is usually good, these type of predictions will not help the impatient give coach some slack.

too logical man...

the impatience, the paranoia, the forecasting...it's far too ingrained on this site. :)

Victory vs Rutgers may not be a sure thing, especially so early in the season. But overall preconference isn't that tough and only 2 certain losses. Shouldn't lose more than 4 before conf play

freshman point guards and freshman coach, 6 - 6 wouldn't surprise me, nor disappoint me at this stage. Saying they "should" win a certain amount of games, is putting on onus on Mullin, that I don't think he deserves.

No doubt, we got a bunch of new players, and a new head coach (bet ya Mullin is a better game coach then Lavin from game 1, and that's with Lavin having years of experience coaching.)

We could lose to Rutgers, Vandy, and S Carolina, and have a slip up or 2 against teams we should beat. With young kids, it's hard to predict.
Just hope our young ballers mature quick.

Here's one prediction that I know will be a reality, by February we will be a real dangerous team.

We've hit the dead period of the off season, football can't get here fast enough!

speak for yourself man. :)

european soccer in effect.

METS in effect.

and boxing for better or worse, year round. (Mares/Santa Cruz was a slugfest last week and yes, in effect)

now, if only this football thing would go away...enjoy your fifteen minutes of action in three and half hour intervals. :)

peace

We will be fine no matter the impatience, crudeness, won-lost record...because I would speculate that most ( and many pro SJU pro Chris Mullin patient fans don't post on this site) fans are thrilled with who is leading our team and what progress has already been made! Amazing really what has been done.

I think 15-16 wins is doable AND I could care less if we have zero Ws
We are in great shape going in the right direction. Think marathon. Think half marathon. Think 10 K. Just :) don't think one and done ( as to our coaches and/or our program.

It's the best of times not the worst.

Ever hear of the no huddle offense aka the hurry up offense? Way more plays than just a few years ago and a much more popular sport in case you haven't noticed. ;) :)
