Really feel we could win this tourny

Az St is like us, not in the votes section of the top 25.
UVA is #7, but have a real tough time scoring

Think if we get 62, we'll have a real shot at beating the champs.
LJ & Heron could equal Lamb and get 30.
Smith got 13, Dunn could score 13 as well, that 43
Roberts, Champ, and Earl could avg 5 each that 58.
Nick 2 Caraher 5 that 65
Two from Williams? 67

We could score more then 62 against them, could they score that vs. us?

I think we def have a shot at ASU if we are making shots. No chance vs. UVA though IMO...at least this year. I just want us to beat 1 major opponent OOC. That would be really nice and give them confidence going into conference season.

Mike, Vermont held uva to 60, they also had 2 guys score 43 while everyone else score 12.

I'm hope LJ&Heron can equal Lambs 30, Dunn equal Smith 13.
I think we could get 19 points total from everyone else.

Kenpom predicts ArizState 54% chance of winning with store of 79- 78.
Its a shame a game of this caliber is not on a broadcast channel.
Yeah I get that but everyone has a computer, no?
There are only so many channels and on a college football Saturday less to choose from.
For all the OTT services out there I do think providers need to educate some more. Especially the older generations. Once you show them whats out there it opens up their eyes to some pretty great ways to watch.

There are two positive aspects of Bobby Hurley not coaching SJU:

1. I really like coach Anderson

2. I can now go back to despising the Hurley brothers. I had to suspend that feeling for Bobby, while we heard rumors of his candidacy here.

One Hurley coaches uconn (no need to say anything else there), and the other used SJU to get more money from ASU.

I get it, just wished it was on regular TV. I'll be watching it on the computer.

With a lot of newer TV’s you can stream it onto your TV or you can buy a Chromestick or something similar. Fortunately for many this game is on ESPN 3 which is free to ESPN subscribers. A lot of games are now on ESPN + which is a pay service.

Think this game is a toss up. I'd love for our guys to pull it out. If fortunate enough to win the only way we can compete with Virginia is if we make them play our fast, frantic, up and down pace. Much better teams than us have failed to dictate the game pace with Virginia so I don't think it's reasonable to expect our still unproven group to pull it off. I'd still love to see our guys play against a first-class program like Virginia for the experience of course and hey miracles do happen. I'll happily take 1-1 in this tournament.

I'm curious to see how certain guys do against the bigger programs we're about to play like ASU, (Virginia?) West Virginia and Arizona. As these opponents will be bigger, faster and more skilled it will be enlightening to see which of our promising players can maintain their production and "hang". I think how guys do in these bigger games may be a good indicator of who will be featured in Coach Anderson's rotation once we get into the marathon that is conference play. Mikey Dixon had some pretty good games against the cupcakes last season before proving unable to keep up with the more athletic teams.

I had the same conversation with my friend at the game yesterday. Spot on post.

I'd say just do the same exact thing that they been doing, but against the p5 teams you gotta come harder, more intensity. Can't play not to lose, you enjoy these games, and say: "I'm coming right at these guys."

Lets get Saturday's game.

I'll be going too. Hopefully we go 1-1
Heard there is a reception after the game. Cant miss that.
What we need is a 7 footer with a hook shot like Alcindor aka Jabbar who can rebound
