Just going to say that this game is now a must win. You lose and at 0•2 it's "oh well here we go again."

Must at least split first four, don’t want to dig a hole again, becoming a tradition

Agree that Gtown is a must game, as early as it is. CMA needs to watch tape from the perspective of players he put on court. I had high hopes for Toro, but it is very clear at this point he is a liability out there while Roberts showed some fight underneath in the 5 minutes or so Coach gave him. Moore and Roberts should be our 8th or 9th men, McGriff our 10th man and Toro and Caraher only situational players.
Cole needs more shots.

Still a number of talented players at G Town. St. John's can't sleep on them. In fact, Rider and st. Joe's game showed we can't sleep on anybody.

Pretty much for the most part only fans "sleep" on opponents.

Our roster is greatly flawed - our "bigs" are not capable of playing like "bigs"
They are small forwards in very tall disguises
We don't have anybody who can guard a guy like Mamu
I hope that very few Big East teams have players with his size and skill set

Most every game winnable, and definitely every game losable. Think we'll bounce back and grab a W here.

The hard truth is, that if either one of these teams wants to surprise in the Big East, they both probably need to sweep this 2-game, 8-day series.

Obviously, that can't happen, but this first game is probably slightly more important to Georgetown, because they're home (and they've already dropped a home conference game, albeit to the class of the league), so it would be great if we can get this one, and have the advantage going into the return game on 12/20.

I think georgetown will be favored in this game.

So do I.

Win a BE road game staff; 1 of last 9 is not helpful & this one seems there for taking

Don't know about the betting line, but BPI gives us a 56.6% chance of victory. If the line is consistent with that, it will probably be a pick'em.

This is a must win. Georgetown is coming off a really difficult L. The line will probably be Georgetown -2.5, so it'll be close to a coin flip.

We need a couple road wins, because beating teams at home, really any team, won't be easy.
Just checked. G-TOWN is favorite by 2pnts
I was off by 0.5. Anything within 2 points is basically a coin flip. No reason we shouldn't be able to take this one. We need 100% effort and focus from start to finish. Must win.
