Prayers for Joey T’s Dad

Our 6-0 women play a great Harvard team at noon today. While Joey must get the ladies ready he has to deal with the fact that his dad, an outstanding individual, was moved into hospice care a few days ago. His dad has been suffering for a few years, and anyone who has been through that with a family member knows the family suffers greatly when a member is declining mentally. His dad was a brilliant lawyer whom I consulted with a few years ago when clients of mine were buying an oceanfront property in Naples, Florida, and I had a question or two about Florida real estate. Not only was he on target with his answer but he was so kind and gracious. A true gentleman.
For those that can please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

I reached out to Joey T last night after the ladies big win against previously undefeated Penn State to congratulate him on the victory.
I then asked how his dad was doing.
He replied that he passed peacefully last Friday.
May he rest in peace.
As I had mentioned earlier on this thread his dad was an outstanding individual.
May the family know of no further sorrow.

If I am not mistaken, I thought I heard the announcers say his father passed away after the game. What an emotional week it must have been for him with his dad and then Carnesecca.

Happy they won yesterday. The team looks like they rallied around him. Nice to see.

Yes, the announcers did mention it prior and during the game. Glad the team rallied around Joey. Prayers to the entire Tartamella family. 🙏
