Prayers for Coach

I didn’t see anything on the forum except for some difficult times. A friend of mine with Siena ties mention to me tonight that Coach’s brother Rod passed away? I’m assuming this is true but can anyone confirm it? Prayers to the family.

Thank you

Rod’s passing was rumored among some on the site but it was determined not to post the news until we received some confirmation.

Apparently it is true.

The news helps put basketball in perspective.

Regardless of how we feel about Coach, the staff, the players, and our struggles of late, I’m sure we all have felt the tough feeling of losing someone close to us at some point in our lives.

It’s never easy. Praying CM can get through this. Even though the emotions we get from watching these games are very potent and very real, it will always be a game. Nothing more and nothing less.

Prayers to Mullin and his family

It's always sad to say goodbye to a loved one. My prayers are with the Mullin family (and any others struggling with loss...)

Very sorry to hear this, must be Hell to go through that while also coaching under such an intense microscope. I will pray for him and his family.

Sincere condolences to Coach and his whole family. They will be in my prayers.

My condolences to Chris and his family the lost of his oldest brother Rod.

We all take our basketball program too seriously sometimes, this puts things in perspective.

Not easy losing someone so close at presumably such a young age. I give credit to coach Mullin for holding it together with all the pressures of being a coach and this simultaneously. I definitely would've cracked. Very nice family that deserves our prayers.

FYI looks like he lost his father Roddy at the way too young age of 56 to cancer. Sad but interesting article. Mullin's been through the ringer and back. https://www.nytimes.com/1991/0...ullin-family-to-hold-bittersweet-reunion.html

So sad to lose a brother..

When watching games on TV, I would often notice a man behind bench during home games who was a bit older but resembled Chris Mullin in both height & facial appearance (not Terrance).

Might this be his brother or perhaps an uncle ?

Prayers to Mullin family.
