No matter what opinion you had on Lavin as a coach, I think we can all agree that he has had a huge impact on his players and these are evidence of that. Gotta love Sheed's too with all he's dealt with.

Just from watching the Red Storm Report every week on MSG, you could hear how much these guys liked playing for Lavin. I hope he does go to their graduation, as unlikely as it is.

I tend to agree with you. I see a Roberts redux with under 500 Big East records. No matter what coach they get. He will have to have his own contacts with recruits and start the process all over again, except without the bang.
