Does anyone know if there is a way to arrange to watch a practice? Are they open? What time? Anyone have any info on how they r going? Thanks

I attended many practices back in the early seventies. They were open back then. I was out of New York for awhile, then visited Alumni Hall during the season. This must have been in the early eighties. Practice was closed. You could sit in the gym, but security threw you out immediately. And in my case, repeatedly. I doubt that it is open these days either. Recently, I got harassed while watching a Catholic High School baseball practice. The coach let me stay only after I convinced him I wasn't scouting for their opponent the next game. I think it would really help increase game attendance and fan interest if some practices were opened for students and fans.

Used to love to watch Louie's practices while a student from 72-76. They were often more fun to watch than the games themselves. Think today most coaches are paranoid and with social media that is now understandable. Imagine the Rutgers coach Rice holding open practices?

Practices are closed unless you have an invite. I believe they are normally early morning before class or at least some of them are.
