The man makes close to 2million per year, after today he is 1 and 5 in Big East Tournament Games.

IMO we need to cut our loses now and move on, he will never right this ship.
 
actually, I retract that statement, just offer him 500,000 per year. If he makes the tournament he gets another 500,000.
 
Had he thought of the post season he would have rested Dlo and CO at Georgetown and given them a chance to heal instead of causing further aggravation of injuries, We should not need a neon sign to know both are playing hurt and probably will play hurt next week. I call it a coaching blunder
 
I am going to assume you meant Nova rather than write a very funny reply that could be taken as an assault on your intelligence.
 
We lose, half the board says he sucks. We win, the other half claims he's a genius that deserves an immediate extension. Not a lot to be gained by listening to snap judgments.

I heard A Rod hit a preseason home run. The Yankees should be happy he came back. When he strikes out tomorrow, I will be sure to report that he's washed up and needs to be put on waivers.

I've been a supporter of Lavins but it might be time to move on.
Watching a senior laden team stand around on offense for the majority of the game is embarrassing.
No timeouts = no clue?
I also want players I want to root for; not players who mope, or are always complaining to the refs, or are on occasion dirty.
A #3 recruiting class, and no BE tournament wins? WTF
In conclusion, WTF, WTF!

You just touched on something that was so true in today's game. There was way, way too much one on one play today. Play after play I saw our guys literally planted in their spots. Granted, I know they aren't a motion offense, but for the love of God run a screen or run a backdoor cut or anything. At times, Harrison, Greene & Pointer were literally standing there watching Branch or Jordan try to create on their own.

Also, whether people on this board think it's fair or not, I do have to blame Lavin somewhat for the shot selection today. There was a point early on in the game where I think we must've taken 5 or 6 three pointers in a row. I'm all for letting the players play their game, but after awhile he's got to control that. Call a timeout, get the guys in a huddle, and tell them that the next guy that puts up a three is benched. Show me some creativity, some motion, some screens, and stop relying on 18-21 foot bombs.
