Posh turnovers .

When have you seen Posh stripped of the ball so many times and no foul called . It looked like Iowa State was given a free pass on defense . It looked like most of turnovers in second half involved IS ripping balls from our guys. We didnt play well but we never gave up !!!!

Can’t win when your point guards turn it over around 12-13 times.

CMA has got to work on the spacing. These guys are just running on top of each other and bringing the defense right to the ball.

Looked like a little league team today.

Posh confidence with his ball handling and passing seems a little shook since Curbelo joined, I think he feels pressure to play as flashy as Curbelo does and it hurts him, he's trying to do too much. And I'm not too worried about it, Posh is a great player and will figure it out.

This game is one of the losses that needs to really hurt and forces them to come back better. And I agree with Big Red, CMA's going to have to come up with something for spacing. More Pinzon needs to happen, he's the one bright spot in this game, has a quick release and he shoots with confidence.

They were not exactly keying on Pinzon. They stopped the guys they needed to.

None of Curbelo, Jones or Posh played well today. Posh had a few bad turnovers today, but what worries me more is he just doesn't seem to be shooting with a lot of confidence whether from three or midrange. We need him to at least be a competent shooter from midrange.

It would be nice if he would stop driving to the basket when there are three guys 6" bigger than him defending it!

It’s amazing how quickly some of you think 3 alpha type players should mesh well together. They’ll figure it out. I don’t have a ton of faith in the coach, frankly, but I do have faith in these three players that they’ll figure it out within a month. They all want to win, they’ll get on the same page.

Posh was abysmal today. In his junior year he should never be turning the ball over like that. That was embarrassing.

In year 4 we are not supposed to get outclassed by the #23 team in the country.
In year 4 we haven’t sniffed being ranked or making the tournament and that is not changing this year. In year 4 Anderson still can’t seem to construct a roster to fit his style and can’t seem to figure out a rotation or who his best players are.
I get you don’t turn down a Curbelo but in this day and age having 2 small guards who can’t shoot…..
Not doing either any favors making them do things they can’t.

Saying we won’t sniff the tournament at this point is a bit rash IMO. I know you like to say you have a knack for this future telling stuff but I’d say your record is pretty even on both sides, which is good.

I am not confident we beat a bad FSU team
Even giving us that game puts us at 10-1 with a bad schedule.
At Min would have to go 10-10 in BE and would still need to probably win at least 1 BET game.
You confident we go 10-10? And win a BET game?

I’m confident the season didn’t end yesterday.

I would have jumped at a 10-1 non conference record - with the lone loss @ ISU - if you offered it before the season. Despite yesterday's loss, I still like their chances to do just that.

2 wins vs. Gtown, 4-2 vs. DePaul SH and Butler, 3-3 vs. X Marquette Nova is 9 BE wins right there. No reason whatsoever to write the season off. Let's see what they are made of.
