If Posh can develop a reliable jumper to go along with his skill set, he will be lethal

To become a great player he will have to improve his shooting otherwise we can expect the same this season which would not be bad

Clearly the jumper improvement takes him to the next level.  We were so much better last year in games where he could hit just a few 3's.

But the beauty of this kid is that he can go 1-10 and still have such a positive impact on a game in a winning manner.  I think his floor is John Linehan Part II, which is a helluva player.  The defense, tenacity and intangibles show every night.

Improving his three point shooting would be great but I think it is more important for Posh to improve his fifteen foot jump shot. He is so quick with the ball no defender is going to going to be able to stay in front of him and if he can make those those short jump shots with any consistency his offensive game will match his defensive game.

the talent is obvious…what separates him is what you can’t teach -  tough and fearless. kid is a winner

15 players who will become stars during the 21-22 season

Posh Alexander, St. John’s: The Big East’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman, Alexander is destined to reach another level as a sophomore. This 6-foot point guard plays more like a defensive end than a true floor general, but his game is not all about defense. St. John’s was 11-2 last season in games where Alexander scored in double figures and 7-0 in games where he made multiple three-point shots. If this kid becomes a consistent scorer, he’ll instantly become one of the best guards in college basketball.
