For the uninformed, was the game played and how did he do?
Seems like such a good kid - as many have commented, we are fortunate to have him on board.

At Jordan Brand practice, familiar name who loves Duke btw.

2019 wing RJ Barrett is a special talent. Arguably top prospect in JBC International game. Gifted scorer/passer.

But remember those few games in your senior year when St. John's actually gave you some minutes and you torched Louisville and others?

Great memories, huh?

It's been a long time and maybe my memory isn't so great, but I thought Barrett (wrongly) got PT over Rashawn McCloud, thus resulting in the latter's transfer. McCloud then went on to star at Duke. Barrett did have a terrific game against Louisville, however.

Sad, but true.
 
The reason we lost McLeod is because Mahoney tried to shove him in at center. He was clearly s SF or stretch 4 type. He went to Duke and lit it up as a wing player. His time at SJU was wasted because of stupid coaching decisions by a bad coach.

I loved this kid. When play stopped I told him he was looking real good, he replied, thank you. Mahoney didn't give him enough minutes would be another reason for leaving.
