Here is a fresh thread in the correct place. It doesn't have to be about Trump. It does have to be appropriate, respectful and according to site guidelines.

If you use Redmen.com as an escape from politics, move on. I am a Yankees fan and have no inclination to discuss the Mets. The Mets' thread doesn't bother me, I just never click on it.

For those who are interested, let's see if we can transcend the national epidemic where name calling and intolerance prevails.

Nobody wants to be the bad guy as a mod, in fact many of us have a soft spot for political discussions and the old R&P forum, and as a result we've been far to lax, for far too long when it comes to moderating that subject.

But the fact is that forum was abolished because people couldn't play nice. Recently its become clear that its not possible for posters to moderate themselves in these passionate/heated debates. Now we have to step back in and do that for you.

Everyone, please take this as a final warning on two fronts:

1- If you want to talk politics with someone, take it to PM's or email. Future political posts will have threads locked and the poster will be demoted to the rookie forum.

2- Stop starting threads asking why threads are locked. PM Paul or a mod and we will be happy to discuss it. Threads like that will also be locked and the person starting the thread will be demoted to the rookie forum.

Ok so todays events Trump EU is big progress and when it gets finalized Trump deserves a lot of credit. I personally want nothing to do with trade wars
