One of our members, I am not going to name him out of respect for his privacy, is having a crisis. One of his daughters is very ill with a lung infection.

Please pray for her recovery. Thank you.

Thank you all. I'm sure he will read this and appreciate the thoughts.

G d bless the young lady and may she be better soon. Absolutely nothing worse than having a sick Child and being helpless but our collective prayer is important. It is times like these that we remember what a great community we are. We may disagree but we truly care for one another and have each other’s backs in times of need.

God bless poster and his daughter. Will definitely keep both in my prayers. Serious illness is always a tough thing, but when it hits one of our precious children that has got to be the worst. Hoping for a full recovery for the young lady.

May God, the great physician put his healing hands on her. My prayers for a full and speady recovery for her and comfort for the family,

May the Lord bless and heal her. My thoughts are with the poster in these trying times.

Prayers for this young lady and her family.

If there are any extraordinary needs that we can help with, please let us know.

I echo Redmannorth's comments about the SJU community. We may not be an elite academic institution, but the great community of alumni, friends, donors, and fans that's been built is extraordinary. Going through my own difficult situation, many of you have reached out to me in support, even offering professional help, and I respect anonymity, but also comforted when I run into one of you at a game or on campus, and am asked how things are.
All of this makes the success of our program secondary to the great group we have here that support each other in rough times. Whether it be the fires in Santa Rosa, an ill poster who needed financial help, or just emotional support, our guys are amazing, and makes me very proud to be part of it.

Of course, I'm not even sure Paul is aware of what an enabler he is to all of us, and deserves so much of our collective thanks and appreciation.
