As Jerry said to Babu: The wheels are turning.

His name sounded familiar when I seen this, but couldn't remember anything about him, however when I googled his name, it showed that I had already watched his highlight videos, that means at some point I heard his named linked to Arkansas that's the only other reason I would have watched those. When I looked at his twitter profile, I seen that Scotty Thurman (former Arkansas assistant) was following him, so that must be who was his lead recruiter at that time and where I heard the name from. So staff has a prior connection before St. John's with this kid. He looks like a late bloomer and a guy that would thrive in CMA's system.

Looks like he's got lots of upside. Like the fact that he'd be a potential four year kid. We just need to sign him up and then bulk him up over time!

Looks like a CMA type of kid shot blocking machine.......[/quote]
Big men are typically a bit iffy about adjusting to Division I ball, but he did make more low-post baskets in this 2.5-minute highlight film than Keita made all season.

Wow the kid looks very quick, mobile, & agile around the hoop. Great blocking ability!
Maybe he's the 2nd coming of Tariq? Lol. I joke!
Looks good to me!
Let's 'close'.

OMG 6'10 175lbs. makes Tariq Owens look like a fat slob. If we sign him send him to Arkansas for the summer and give him some SEC weight training and nutrition program. Wait until CMA sees our weight room of one and two pound dumbbells.

The highlight video posted is a bit old. Saw some tweets today listing him at 200lbs, still not big but better than 175.

This discussion makes me wonder if the S&C staff will be retained. They normally work with more than 1 team, so I’m not sure CMA has the final say, but it will certainly be a downgrade from Arkansas.

That's another place where we fall short of the competition. It's not uncommon for big time football and basketball programs to have their own S & C staff and nutritionists to ensure that their players are eating properly

Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball EACH have their own Strength Coach and that is the ONLY team they work with!

Men's S&C coach is part time. Also works at Dunkin Donuts. ;) :)
