I knew your affinity for Dee from prior posts so I was guessing one was him. Russ Smith's stats were preached to me by some hillbilly who had a little to much sauce last night.

Smith is not the sharpest tool in the box. He drives his coach nuts at just about every practice.Just something that gives Harrison the edge. Smith regularly will take a rushed bad shot with 30 sec. on the shot clock, and 25 sec. left in the first half. look at the end of regulation of the ND game. Smith will be off the Wooden list at the next cut

I was just hanging around the hoop and that opportunity to say something nasty fell into my lap. No offense. I think Smith got the nod because Louisville was a Final Four team last year and he got exposure. Based on his stats he doesn't belong.

This is a weak Wooden class. I think it will come down to a two man race with Cody Zeller and Ben McLemore. I don't think there are any seniors worthy of the award unless one is a Dook fan.

Neither of these kids belong in the conversation. The biggest difference between the two players is the success of their respective teams. If Harrison was on a great team, he would certainly be considered. He's not.

Many ways to slice that. Many other options on Lville to key on allowed Smith the go on his run. Not as many options as us. And the list was prior to the year. So last year Smith was at 11ppg and Harrison at 18ppg. Some use the good team vs bad team excuse. Players on bad team get shots. Players on good teams though aren't keyed on like those on bad teams.
