Pitt Getting What It Deserves

Was thinking about that before when I saw they were upset. Pitt will go from a perennial top 10-15 team in the Big East to a borderline top 25 team in the ACC. Football ruins basketball programs.

I hope Dixon leaves and ditches them for a west coast job like ucla.

That's the problem with this realignment mess. Should we kill Dixon and the BB team. They are nothing more than indentured servants, pawns in this game. The Pitt president and administration is who you want to suffer, so indirectly if they have misfortune in the move to the ACC , you want them to. BC when they went into the ACC had instant success with their Big East team, but then they went down with lack of recruiting, no established rivalries, empty stadiums etc. The administration suffered while lining their pockets with cash. You wonder about the trade off.

I don't care. Go read their boards. Their bball fans have been denigrating the Big East bball teams since they got an invite from the ACC. Pitt ismineif the biggest dirtbags in all this mess. Hope they and Syracuse rot. More than that, I hope we destroy them this season. No time better than now. They're gone after this. I don't give a shit about the trade off. I hope both Pitt and Syracuse basketbsll suffer more than BC. Both were responsible with destroying this conference.

Pitt became very sucessful in the BE when they began to get commitments from nyc area players. This came at or around the time of the scandal for St Johns which coincidentally occurred in Pitt. It is my opinion that they will not recruit as well in this area in the future and that this will lead to a downturn in Pitt basketball. It will just be oh so lovely :)

A lot of their NYC recruiting success was driven by Barry Rohrssen. That said, the Big East made Pitt and I agree that their NYC recruiting success will take a hit
