Seems like a normal reaction to some guy who was so jacked up on roids he couldn't tell if he had a ball or a broken bat in his hand. Actually it was honest of him. Piazza could have said he would have kicked Clemens's ass just to please nitwits like yourself, but why bother. Piazza should take lessons in courage from guys like you who risk their lives by calling people names from the dangers of your basement.

Seems like a normal reaction to some guy who was so jacked up on roids he couldn't tell if he had a ball or a broken bat in his hand. Actually it was honest of him. Piazza could have said he would have kicked Clemens's ass just to please nitwits like yourself, but why bother. Piazza should take lessons in courage from guys like you who risk their lives by calling people names from the dangers of your basement.

How do you know Piazza was not Juicing Roids?
Normal reaction would have been to kick Clemens butt after goin to the trouble of taking Karate lessons.
In Martial arts I was taught to use a opponents Bigger size against them & since Roid Rage/Anger means Clemens was wasting his Energy
Piazza should have had a more focus to outsmart & Outbox him!
Maybe Piazza only smacks around little guys like Sam Champion the weatherman 1/2 his size Lol
 
Man I miss Piazza. I will never forget being about 8 years old at Shea hanging over the Mets dugout during BP when Piazza came over to sign for some fans. He actually stayed for a solid 20 minutes and he finally got to the kid before me...I was next in line. He looked at me, said "Sorry buddy I have to go practice now" and I held back tears I was so close to getting him to sign my baseball hah. As luck would have it, walking back up to the Mezzanine section I saw another kid around my age holding his signed Piazza ball for all to see all giddy.

Easily the best Mets player in my lifetime and it pains me that he was cut short from the HOF because of speculation. I also remember being in a town car on the way to JFK with the Mets coming up and it turns out he used to drive Piazza all the time. This was at the height of the "gay" speculation about him. The driver said he was with women on many occasions and it was all BS in the media. Such a great player, but speculation killed his reputation. Very sad.

I took kick boxing and martial arts as well. That is all fine and good, but do you think the players each team would have made some circle around Piazza and Clemens to watch a fight? Do you think Piazza would have had time to focus and outsmart him? Yes and Piazza would have bowed to his opponent before getting in his stance.

For the love of all that is holy in this website, Piazza most likely would have been tackled before he ever got to Clemens. If not, it it would have become a big pile on with no real punches being thrown. Benches would have emptied and like the vast majority of baseball brawls no one really gets his ass kicked.

If Piazza ever did roids, he was the calmest and most unassuming person to ever to ever do it.

As far as calling you a name, do you ever read some of your posts? They go over the line. I do not call people names, unless they have reached a certain level. And your posts have exceeded those levels. But carry on. I am fairly certain it won't deter you from going overboard again while calling out a SJU player.

I dont go overboard if ur meaning profanity I try to respect other posters opinions even if I disagree thats what makes this forum fun
by the way my post on DeAngelo is a headcase was deleted w out any explanation ??? That was overboard???
my posts are positive & negative depending on the situation I will praise Harrison when he grows into the leader he should already be
Hopefully its asap so we make the ncaa's
