Phil Greene

Funny, I was thinking of PG IV earlier. He was a good, solid, player for us. Not a star—but a good team guy who played a lotta minutes.
In these day she of being fixated on ****’s, I was wondering how many **’s he was out of HS?
Was guessing 2*s, but haven’t found it yet.
A good Johnny.
Hope he has a good pro career...somewhere.

Three stars! I'm afraid that might be too big of a get for us these days.

Red, ya gotta get a bit more’mellow’. I can recommend a very nice and inexpensive Montepulciano d’Abruzzo or a great and inexpensive Valpolicella Ripasso.
Tellin’ ya!

He and Sir Dominic were my two favorite Johnnies on those teams. Gotta admire never giving up.

He wasn't great, but he was good enough.

Thanks for the recommendations -- inexpensive was the key word -- but believe me, Chicago, more wine is the last thing I need. :)

Pretty good, right down to the fedora ... but I use a much, much bigger glass.
