Pretty fair and sensible look at the state of the conference and what SJU needs to do. But one thing. "Weed it and weed..."? C'mon!

Gonzaga is too far away. VCU and Dayton are the teams.

Less far away if you go to two divisions of eight or three divisions of five.

He wasn't balanced.

There have been years when any given conference like the ACC, Big Ten, etc., goes oh-fer, just doesn't pan out sometimes.

The fact is BE did very good OOC, second best overall I believe.

Then again how many conferences got 60% of their teams in the Tourny in the first place.

Not too many years ago the BE got 11 Tourny bids and though some of those teams left, many are still here.

6 bids for a 10 team conference is probably a first!!
