Terrific -- and talented -- young man. Could use more like him.

Definitely a good building block. I consider Earlington, Williams and Roberts freshman also because they really did even play last season and it’s a new system. I expect all three plus Champagnie to make nice improvements next season.

Love Julian's game, very poised. I feel like I am in the minority but Roberts doesn't do it for me, feel like he gets pushed around a lot and could be a bigger factor on the boards. He does bring some nice energy though and wish he could finish.

No doubt that Roberts still has a TON of room for improvement but I'm not sure that rebounding is his biggest issue. He's pulling down 6 boards a game while averaging 20min, as a Sophomore.

By contrast, Yurtseven from G'Town is a Senior, a legit center, 3+ inches taller and 50+lbs heavier and he's averaging 10 boards in 27.5 min a game. If Roberts production stayed the same and he got 7.5 more minutes a night he'd average 8.25 boards in 27.5 min.

Not sure I can even name the last big we had who averaged 9 reb's every 30 min. Even Lamont Hamilton, who is probably the closest thing to a true center we've had this century, only averaged 7.6 boards every 29.3 min at his best.

I really don't get why some people are down on him. Roberts went from zero to Tariq Owens in one off-season with this staff. I can't wait to see where he improves for next year because his upside is huge and he's nowhere near having reached his potential.

Work in progress but huge improvement from Frosh to sophomore...kudos to him...next year will be better

Champ was a great find by the staff. He plays a heady game, he has a nose for the ball, and he rebounds very well. A great local kid and a solid four-year player.

Very impressed with his rebounding. Excited to see how much his jumper and his body improves this offseason.
