My main takeaway is that, unlike every other professional sports league, this is extremely hard to fathom when there's no transparency around the school's collectives' budgets, what players are making, and, even, what the rules exactly are! Thankfully, we have a great coach who deserves the benefit of the doubt -- it seems like he's approaching this like NFL free agency, the best deals come after the first few weeks of action where guys are massively overpaid. But its hard to tell!
