Old Dominion, Fri. Nov. 25, 9:30pm, AXS/570AM-B4A

I am down here with family family at the B4A and we are having a blast. We are well represented by a good fan base that must he around 100 people or so. Yes, LVLL, MSU and Baylor have more - but we have held our own for sure.

Fans are stopping and chatting with each other, same with coaching staff and even a few players. As reported, Mullin has thanked all SJU fans (including me) for coming down and will stand with anyone for a picture at any time.

That said, if there ever is a must win in NCAA hoops in November, tonight is the one for us. We are still winless over a D1 school in Maui and Now B4A. With all the talent on this roster and considering our next oppt is OD, anything short of a victory (by 1 point or 21), will be a huge disappointment.

Several of my friends told me I was paying thousands of dollars to be here to watch my team go 0-3. I told them 1-2 or 2-1. I must prove them wrong!!!
 
Anyoneknow if comcast will air this one?? Battingg 0 Guess I will have to wait until games are on FS1
 
Unlike our last three games* we opened up as a 1 point favorite here.

*Minnesota minus 6.5
Michigan State minus 7
VCU minus 7

That being said ODU gave Louisville all they could handle on Wednesday (taking them to overtime) and beat Richmond on the road. Additionally Brandan Stith their 6' 7" 240 lb. Junior forward is averaging nearly a double double (15.3 PPG and 9.0 RPG) while shooting 65.8% from the field. He is the type of player that we have struggled with so far.

Hopefully we will play well and find a way to win here but the line is probably not far off, so it will likely be a nail biter.

I really believe our shot blockers will stop Stith today. Louisville shot horribly, especially their star studded guards.
 
Hard to believe that a game for 7th or 8th place in a tournament is a must win but it does feel like it.

Well, it all is playing out according to plan. We were the 7th and 8th rated teams in the tournament. ;)

At least based on the results today it would appear that STJ played on the toughest side of the bracket. Baylor, Mi St and VCU all beat their opponents from the other side of the bracket today.

Wish Icould but comcast does not have the games Will watch them all once FS1 BROADCAST that will be most after 12/2
 
Hope coach talked to Bashir to be more selective ,look for teammates and finish at the rim. Also hope they find Mussini and he is on. HOPE OUR BIG START TO GET IT ETC ETC

AXS has been doing Atlantis for years so who exactly are you complaining about keeping you from seeing their games? Only one would be the team since you're only on AXS in 2nd and 3rd rounds if you lose. Obviously the programs have no say so I suggest all teams boycott this tourney in the future. :dry:
