The article mentions Chris McCullough hearing more from Kansas, Memphis, West Virginia, UCLA and Rutgers. Are we still involved?

Very involved. Remember Lavin doesn't like to push kids. Some guys are frenetic and aggressive recruiters like Mike Rice, etc. Lavin's M.O. Is that he plays it cool and doesnt push kids. We landed Obekpa for one big reason and that is because we waited him out. Other coaches cracked and fell off. Lavin won't back off McCullough. You can put money on it. He just won't aggressively bother kids. When a kid is asked who is pushing hardest, it doesn't mean it is the kid's favorites, just the schools that are hammering the kid. I guarantee we're in his top few.
I think Coach will be able to explain to Chris that at SJU he will be the man where at some of the other schools he wont stand out.
Hopefully he will sign late and see the great season we will have.

Don't know if it is a great idea to negatively recruit by telling him he won't stand out at other schools-he is at least a top20 player and I'm pretty sure in his mind he will stand out wherever he goes-well maybe you can say that about going to Kentucky.
