NYC basketball; SJU, Knicks, Nets. Overhyped players, lots of L's. No reason to expect things to change anytime soon (think recruits, draft picks).

Have local basketball fans ever had it this bad?

Not that I care right now but I think Louisville may win the NCAA's again. They are playing really well right now. I know its Rutgers but 61 points. Wow!

Louisville must be playing great to triple another teams score, but what about sportsmanship. I am sure the argument will be made that they're getting ready for the tournament, but if a frustrated Rutgers player injured say Smith I think Pitino would be at fault. Both teams will be in different leagues next year so maybe he figures he can get away with it.
Karma can be a bitch.
 
92-31 ouch. Don't know how long he kept his starters in but I can't say that I am not disappointed ru got spanked.

Doesn't take the frown off due to our NIT performance, but brought a bit of a smirk for a few seconds.

they are better off not playing in the NIT- Why should they embarrass themselves any more than they need to
