Terrence sits in the row behind me at CA. He's at a lot of games, usually with 2 or more of his kids. At least once this season, he coached on of his St. Francis DeSales CYO teams at halftime.
One the day Chris was inducted into the HOF, Terrence wasn't there at the breakfast, and then wasn't at the game when it started. I said to my wife, "I bet he has a game to coach this morning." Sure enough, before halftime, Terrence arrived with a few kids in tow, still in De Sales uniforms. I said to my wife, "See, I was right. Terrence coaches a bunch of teams there." Then this kid who sits next to me at CA, a group of like 6-8 fathers and sons who are always at games, says to me in the nicest voice. "He's my coach, too! He's a GREAT coach."
True to form, for the Mullins (and many of us) any game, even a CYO game, is more important than an accolade - even one as important as the SJU HOF induction.
