Really nice article. From recollection, the optics are a little off. Lindsay left because his playing time on a very thin roster under Dunlap had evaporated over poor play. Like many kids lacking maturity, rather than work through an adjustment to D1 basketball by hard work, refining his game, and playing under control, he bolted just 9 games into his initial college season. Given how thin our roster was, if he had received some good advice, he could have recovered and earned substantial playing time on what turned out to be a bad team.
In any event, if the dialogue wasn't cleaned up a lot by the author, if Lindsay is that articulate, he is bright enough to be successful in life after basketball. I wish him well.
