 We have GG and Sampson, but we need at least 3 more big men for this upcoming season. Obekpa is a maybe, and Chandler needs to qualify, and Sanchez I think we have a good shot. But the chances of landing all 3 are slim. So does anybody have some ideas for other recruits we could go after other than Nolan because he is leaning towards Junior College I believe?

Everyone on here is aware and in agreement that we need size...and, we are expecting/hopeful that we'll sign up at least two of our targets. I don't agree that we need three. Two is more than enough, but clearly we'll take three if we can get them. With two bigs we'll have more than enough players to play a suffocating press defense and we just need one of the bigs in the middle at a time to keep the opposition from going over the top too easily.
 
 We only need 2 bigs. With CO having a Cincy lean and Chandlers academic questions, I am a little concerned. Lets hope we get 2 of the above and call it a day.
 
I feel like there is a better chance we get 1 of the 3. If Chandler qualifies are we in his top 3?

Word is if Chandler qualifies STJ is 1, 2 & 3.
 
 I really just hope the NCAA clears the kid. He'd be a monster for SJU and would change the entire profile of this team with a 7 footer in the middle. Kid has a dynamic post game and could become an offensive player that is tough to stop.

Agree 100% MCN. Chandler and GG at the 5 next season would be great. As would Jakaar and Sampson at the 4.
We are another 2 players away from fielding two very good lines next season.
Lets all be patient and keep our fingers crossed.

Clearly, Michael Chandler is the answer, but how did he grow 2" in twenty four hours ??

In addition to Chandler don't you think that there is a strong possibility Steve comes home, on each arm, with an European bruiser and a lights out three point shooting guard both each of whom have last names with eighteen letters ending in CEK !

An old Polish joke :

Polish guy goes for an eye exam. He reads the last line of the eye chart and the doctor says--"Stash that was perfect." Stash replies----not only that doc, but I think I know the guy.

In the meantime, all that we can do is hope Chandler

Chandler tweeted the other day that he's 6'11" 235lbs. That's pretty much a 7-footer.
