Breaking: UNC has posted the new notice of allegations. Includes unethical conduct and extra-benefits violation regarding the fake classes.
9:11 AM - 22 Dec 2016

NCAA's new notice against UNC covers the period of fall 2002-summer 2011. FB & MBB specifically mentioned.

Rumor has it they will be proactive regarding punishment by decreasing their cross country ski scholarships by 50%

Per Goodman
NCAA Infractions Report on North Carolina expected to be announced tomorrow, source confirmed to ESPN. @InsideCarolina first.

Kentucky blog view lol;

"One can only speculate, but according to Inside Carolina, the NCAA is releasing its infraction report on UNC this Friday. This was supposed to come last Friday, Oct. 6, but it was just the latest of many delays that pushed the announcement back.

Thankfully, it looks like this latest delay will be just a week to what’s been many years of investigating UNC’s academic fraud scandal.

What will the punishment entail? Will wins be vacated? Are banners coming down? With the 2017-18 Tar Heels get hit with a postseason ban?

It sounds like some kind of significant punishment is coming, though it’s hard to see it remotely being close to the level of punishment that UNC deserves.

My guess is nothing more than a postseason ban, but the NCAA has shown more teeth as of late, especially in regards to stripping a banner from Louisville for their recent scandals."

The FBI should be investigating the entire ACC!
Syracuse - dirty for years. Wife of top assistant giving players BJs. Middle men channeling cash to players from the Red Bruin days.
Louisville - Kentucky light in terms of benefits to players. A veritable whorehouse of college basketball from the coach to the players.
North Carolina - been hiding behind its clean white southern reputation for years but "accommodating" athletes to keep them eligible.
Miami - boosters channeling $ to football and basketball.
Georgia Tech - most basketball players not qualified to attend the MIT of the south. ....look at the moron Stephon Marbury and many others.
Although not in the ACC, but an ACC wannabe, UCONN and it's brokers should be reinvestigated given the Sidney Wilson tamperig and possible $$ exchange regarding his transfer.

The tale which I was told regarding the pressure asserted on Sidney while at StJohn’s, if true, would be criminal.

I am getting this sneaky suspicion that the penalties will be far less than some seem to think. Even the writer (Goodman) admits as much. Why delay the announcement a week? Fundraising? I call BS on that. Why on the next Friday? Controversial news gets less coverage and less exposure on a Friday as people's attention shifts to a weekend mode. They will hope the slap on the wrist dissipates by Monday. I hope I am wrong but I am tiring of the NCAA treating certain members differently. They need to be exposed for the frauds they are. Here's hoping the FBI brings them around.

Blue Blood schools rarely get the punishment that they deserve
If this happened at a school like the University of Idaho, look out!!
They would be whacked and whacked hard!!

Maybe someone should tip off the FBI.

This ticks me off! I detest UCONN! Ugly, mean, fans! If true, something should be done, but if the victim college (SJU in this case) doesn't raise cain (and I doubt we will) against an Elite program--nada will happen.

The investigation only started in 2010, maybe if they had more than seven years to poke around they'd have found something suspicious.

UNC did nothing wrong. Any student could take these fake courses. Their athletic academic advisors should be congratulated for identifying appropriate courses that permit the athletes to earn credit towards graduation without interfering with their practice or travel schedules.
