The discussion going on about whether or not to accept an invitation to the NIT is absurd!
Ballers want to play! Even at midnight in the rain. 
This is not the NIT of old. The best teams outside of the NCAA field are invited. 
Suggestions that certain players sit out the NIT are ludicrous!  If anything, players like Champagnie and Posh have to show the maturity it takes to be next level players. They have zero to lose and only to gain by continuing to play.
You guys may be on the main board as fans but some of your attitudes suck! 
 
 
It's a downright rotten shame that a New York City school from the Big East is snubbed by the NIT!
Screw them!  Next year we'll just go to the NCAA tournament.

The NIT is no longer run by the local yokels it is run by the NCAA and they go by the same ranking as the NCAA T. We didn't deserve an invite under their criteria and as for next year and an NCAA bid good luck with that.
