Next year : Middle school height

No player is going to be higher than 6'8 next year. Christian Jones (6' 7) will move to the Center position. What a disaster!

This is what the optimal line up will look like next year:

Starters
Jordan
Harrison
Greene (needs to seriously improve his shot selection)
Pointer (he regressed this year, needs to step it up at least on defense)
Jones (Hope hes been working out hard)

Off The Bench (In order)
Branch
Balamou
Ndiaye
Lipscomb

Again, no need to create this thread, there is already a thread discussing our 2014/15 lineup.

Lets see how this plays out before jumping to extreme conclusions. We do have four capable guards coming back next year in a sport dominated by guard play at this level

Plus, as bad as thinks look at this point it could be worse. At least we don't have any of this going on:
Louisville transfer Zach Price spent his first season at Missouri on the bench due to the NCAA transfer rule. After a wild Thursday in which he was arrested twice in just over 12 hours, it is unlikely that he will ever suit up for the Tigers.

Early Thursday morning Price was arrested on suspicion of assault, and was immediately suspended by the basketball program.

From the Columbia Tribune: Price, 20, was involved in a dispute with a 23-year-old male roommate and a 23-year-old female and followed them from the area of Heather Lane and Ash Street to the area of Stadium Boulevard and blocked in their vehicle with his own vehicle, preventing them from leaving the area, according to the report.

The statement said that Price exited the vehicle and struck the male victim in the face with a closed fist. The other victim attempted to intervene and was pushed to the ground by Price.

Roughly 12 hours later, Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch confirmed that Price had been brought in and arrested for the second time in under 24 hours.

best team we had in the last 20 yrs had a 6' 7" center

And only used seven players. I guess we are in good shape next year afterall. ;)

Really only 6 1/2, Chudney didn't play that much until Ty got hurt and ended up averaging about 10 mins per game but only played double digits 4 of the first 14.

less substitution decisions and lineup shuffling might lead to better team chemistry.

Except, that's what I thought we would get during Dunlap's year here. Instead, all he did was consatntly shuffle the six in and out, especially in the first half of games. Even with only six guys, there was no continuity, because sometimes, he changed up every whistle.

If that was Dunlap's philosophy, I shudder to think what Lavin's is.

But, I still think he will bring a couple of bodies in here before the year starts (don't ask me who).

Most of top recruits and JC players have been set for 2014-2015. Steve Lavin will have new players, but players will be mid-mid-major players.

Does anybody remember "Curtis Johnson". He played from 2001 to 2004 at St. John's, and his height is 7'3
He now sometimes participates "Korean Ssireum" tournament which is similar with "Japanese Sumo".

St. John's needs players who was born to be basketball player.
