Zach says Heron has trouble guarding bigger players in the paint. Well duh, he's a 6'4 G he shouldn't have to guard bigger players in the paint as much as he does. Then Braziller says Roberts and Earlington are candidates to transfer without offering any evidence that they intend to do so which IMO he should not have done. Other than that ZB nice job.

What a scumbag.

I don't think he's wrong -- I could see both transferring out -- but he shouldn't have committed that to paper.

Typical horseshit speculating about 2 players transferring like that. It’s fine for someone to do this on Redmen.com but an acredited journalist? The profession is shambolic so he shouldn’t feel too ashamed. Right in line with the rest of his peers

Evidence?
A direct line to a coach is pretty good source to me.

You are right about the profession. It's a joke nowadays. All they care about is getting ahead and will do whatever they can to do so leaving a path of destruction around them.

I don't know. there is something that I don't like about Zach and the ny post with the exception of mike vaccaro. maybe it is his dweebish looks. I wasn't a fan of lenn robbins either when he covered the team

He's really going out on a limb saying 2 people who don't get any playing time "may transfer". What's next, Ponds may score 20 points in his next game.

You really think CM is gonna whisper that to ZB?

He did say "a" coach, not "the" coach.

I'm not going to sit here and defend Zach or the journalism profession. I have plenty of issues with how him and other scribes conduct themselves. That being said he isn't making things up. He has a direct line to the staff. The staff has loose lips. And that's that.

Got to be GSJ since apparently he is the only one who interacts with the team.

Based on 21 games I think you could easily speculate about those two players. If a high school or JC kid comes in can't do any worse.

Keep trying. We've narrowed it down to two.

Like an old teacher used to say to me, if you didn't already know you just weren't paying attention.

No worries at all babe!!! St. John’s was and still is a place that he feels he can grow. Coaches have their valid reasons for playing others right now. But rest assured he will shine! He’s almost 6’10 and ridiculously athletic his time will come :)
