I've finally gotten around to figuring out how to upload some of my old recorded sports/SJU video clips to Youtube. The first one is a short clip of the ending of the Syracuse & Georgetown wins from 1992. The link is below with hopefully more to follow, enjoy.

Here is another video clip, it's a 1992-93 NY sports features clip. It has a few non-St. John's features, so I will list them in the order they are played in:
- Mets sign Bobby Bonilla & Yankees sign Danny Tartabull.

- Knicks vs Bulls 1992 Playoffs highlights
- Lou Carnesecca & Al McGuire inducted to Basketball Hall of Fame

Great videos, all of them!

One interesting side note to the Bonilla/Tartabull story, is that they both were traded away from New York on the exact same day, July 28, 1995. By this point, both of their reputations had taken a turn for the worse.

It was a day of blockbuster deals for New York's baseball teams yesterday as the Yankees braced for a pennant race and the Mets prepared for the future. The Yankees acquired last season's American League Cy Young Award winner, David Cone, from Toronto for three minor league pitchers, then sent the disgruntled slugger Danny Tartabull to Oakland for Ruben Sierra. The Mets traded Bobby Bonilla to Baltimore for Alex Ochoa, a talented outfield prospect.

The impetus for the trades is twofold: The Yankees and Orioles are girding for the A.L. East race. The Mets and Jays are trying to shed salaries and build for the future.

Uploaded some additional videos including the Carnesecca Arena Dedication Ceremony, highlights of the St. John's back to back Holiday Festival Championships in 2004 & 2005, as well as highlights against UCLA, Georgetown, Pitt & Syracuse, all of them victories ; ) & the Basketball Legacy Honors. There are some downers however, including a feature that ESPN did on the state of St. John's basketball after the Pittsburgh scandal & the Jarvis firing. I also uploaded the entire documentary "ESPN The Season: St. John's" which follows the team during the entire 2002 season (it's in 4 Parts again).
