This will only be W/L. No spread. You can join the pool and we'll do every week of the season. Then Post season and then 64+8 NCAA Tourney
Depending upon how much overhead /admin and involvement by members we might do some varieties like an elimination pool - last one wins or vegas sportsbook with spread. But to start this will only be games played by Big East teams Conference & OOC games.
To start a couple of options/notes:
There may be a few issues to work out so let's get the first week done and if there are any problems, I'll try to address it as quickly as possible. Week 1 starts Nov 6 so there is plenty of time to lock in. (first preseason game Oct 26) You can join the pool now. Once you have joined a pool, you'll get notification alerts for locking in your picks.
*Also, it would possible for members to create your own pools and for pools to be private/invite only, but currently these things are not enabled. If anyone is interested in doing this, let me know.

- In the case of a tie, we'll need to distinguish the winner. Currently there are two tie-breaker options of picking St. John's home wins +1 or picking St. John's road wins +2. For weekly pool this means there will likely be multiple winners and even WK 1 a real chance that everyone wins... For the cumulative season winner the tie breakers will hopefully rule out but If there is still a tie after that, we'll figure it out or perhaps we can figure it out with some of your input on better options.
- For those who have joined the/a pool but forget to get their picks set for a particular week, they will have default picks for the visiting team winning (i.e. lower statistical chance of getting a correct pick) automatically chosen.
- I do have the Preseason pool setup, but it is only the two St John's preseason games. I don't have a list of all of the preseason games for the other BETeams. If someone wants to put that together and send it to me, I'll update the preseason otherwise, leave it as is. No real competition here for a pool so it is more example purposes as it stands. What I would need for each game would be: 1) Home Team 2) Full team name of the Visitor (full name of school plus their nickname) 3) Date/Game time-EDT. (if the home team is not a BE team then need the full info.)
