So the law firm Covington & Burling, who represents the Big East, registered America12.com on Tuesday? Interesting.
Perfect!!! And best of all, it is a name that UConn and Cincy fans can feel at home with!!!Sloppy Seconds?

Uconn and Cincy would bolt the new conference in a NY minute! Both university presidents have made further pitches to the ACC.
As for their new home, since Aresco lives in Connecticut I am betting CT but would not be surprised if their tournament is held in Memphis because of its central location and easy flight connections as opposed to Hartford. I think Houston, SMU, Tulane, East Carolina, Memphis, UCF and USF and possibly Tulsa would not relish having their fans travel to depressing downtown Hartford in March.

My money would be on Orlando for their tourney. They can offer their fans a really warm climate with attractions for the family. It would not be too far for most of them to reach...even by car in most cases.

looks like, America 12 or American 12... sounds like another A10 or Conference USA league, but we already knew this.
