At the game last night I heard a few very positive comments about Anton Goff. Early, but he seems to be a very focused, goal driven leader, who embraces the challenge of turning the ship around. He also responds to questions, e-Mails & social media inquiries expeditiously & frankly IMO. His enthusiasm, as evidenced below, is obvious. Hopefully he gets the support above him to achieve his goals. We'll see.

I've been following him on Twitter and I like his enthusiasm......here's hoping he's a keeper!
 
I can confirm from personal experience that he is attentive to requests from alum. I reached out to him with some questions on something non-St. John's related and he was more than willing to help. Looking forward to seeing what Anton brings to the program.

Agree totally. Finally, an SJU adminustrator who understands the value in interacfing with the SJU community and actually seems to enjoy doing it and being a positive axvocate for the program. Bobby G shpuld take notice and follow suit.

I had the opportunity to have a conversation with Anton Goff at one of the men's basketball games and I found him to be a smart and focused individual. He has enthusiasm for his position.

During that game he watched from the scorer's table and "was into the action" as opposed to his predecessor "The Tan Man" who I regularly saw busy on his IPhone (or Blackberry) during games.
