Since I have picked apart our 'offense' recently-

Twenty-two of the past 24 champions have averaged at least 77 points per game and a scoring margin of 10-plus points per game during the regular season. Additionally, since 1979, every national champion has had at least one McDonald’s All-American — except Maryland in 2002.

If the PPG stats hold true the only teams who average over 77 a game are-

Indiana
Duke
Ole Miss
Iowa State
VCU
Gonzaga
UNC
NC State
Belmont

and

Iona :)

Now subtract the teams without a Mickey D AA.

Easier to subtract every team that doesn't rhyme with Mindiana, Puke, or Wonzaga.

Actually with regards to the first stat of PPG and scoring margin 3 teams qualify I was told. Indiana, Gonzaga and Belmont :)

I would give almost anything for a Gonzaga-Belmont Elite Eight matchup, but somehow I suspect Belmont won't be there.

I think I'm picking Gonzaga to win it all, though. Fingers crossed. . .

I'm going either Zags or Louisville I think

Mom must be tiny for any son of Lamont's to be point guard size. :cheer:

Correction: He's apparently 6'3" and 205. I wonder if he has a sick goldfish and needs to transfer back home. :cheer:

Lamont was an undersized PF at 6'5" but would and could bang with the best of them. Real nice guy. Few years back before he relocated he asked me if I could help a kid that was trying to get a position with a company that I had ties with. The kid had a tough upbringing and but stayed out of trouble and was a hard worker. The kid got the job and do fine eventually leaving under good terms for something else.

Good luck Jr.

Was listening to Geraldo. Had Seth Davis of CBS Sports on as a guest. FWIW Seth is the son of former Clinton advisor Lanny Davis, which is something I was not aware.

BTW The LIU/James Madison playoff game is on true tv so far. LIU down 3 2nd half.

So far a really good game

More importantly, though in the NIT, the Sea Wolves are up 13 on UMass at the half.
