NC Mini-Bash #5

NCJohnnie and I met up for pre-season mini-bash today. This was our 5th official mini-bash although we occasionally run into each other at restaurants, church etc.

We planned to try a new brewery but ended up at NCJohnnie's favorite - King Canary Brewing Co. He is 100% confident that mjmaher and any other redfans craft beer junkies would love the options.

We sat outside under the tent and the food truck option tonight was Fat Guy & a Pie. The pizza was actually very good, which is a huge compliment given how trash the pizza is anywhere else in Mooresville/Lake Norman area.

We talked family, work, which games we'll be traveling to, and the main topic of SJUBB and it was clear we are both as excited as can be in a long time.

Great time as usual and we'll do it again soon.

A great time as always. Enthusiasm is through the roof at least in North Carolina.
 
Krany, you have been a tiny bit out of character of late . Maybe it’s just me .

Phat Pitino ? Sean Miller a Snake ? More than a dozen other Coaches ?

And , now urging NC Johnnie and Red Storm Johnnie to storm through Chapel Hill with their SJU gear on and saying “ like taking Candy from a Baby ?”

They might be tarred and feathered by Tar Herl fans if they did that . Put them at high risk . Or , arrested but , soon released , for inciting a riot .

On a another note . Paragraphing seems to be a non issue this off season . Perhaps fans are making sure they are compliant in this new age of Redmen BB . Which is a kudo to you and your efforts .

I’m sure RP has taken note as well . Good job .

Those guys are a few hours west of Chapel Hill, but I can be there and at Duke and NC State all within 30 minutes. I'll hold it down for you Kranmars

What’s going on in Chapel Hill ? There should be pot fulls of $$$ for NIL .

One thing is certain, a look at current NBA rosters doesn't show many UNC players. Harrison Barnes has had a very solid 11 year career (14 ppg, NBA championship with Warriors, led Mavs in scoring one year and good career three point percentage). Other than him there is Cole Anthony who has had pretty good numbers over 3 years with bad teams, Reggie Bullock who came in around the same time as Barnes but has never been more than a decent role player and a couple of other role players who have not had NBA impact.
