Noticed Norvell Pelle is playing for 76ers and had a nice game today (12 pts, 7 rebds). Simon and Bulls on ESPN right now.

Not too surprisingly, Justin didn't start for Bulls, but Daniel Gafford (Arkansas) did and hooked up on a nice basket with Coby White early.

Turned it over, then stole it back...hustle.

Didn't like seeing him camped out at the 3 line and missing it at the buzzer to end the half.

Overall doing good

Very nice first quarter by Simon except the cringeworthy three at the buzzer play to your strengths Justin!!! Made numerous nice defensive plays!

In order to stick, Justin needs to be able to hit the wide open three, which he did well his first year with Johnnies. I didn't have any problem with that shot, except that he had to hurry it at buzzer.

I thought Simon played well in first half. 7 points and 3 steals in 10 or 11 minutes. I won't be able to watch 2nd half, but I think he can play with these guys and has a half decent chance to stick (50/50). Just my opinion and am often wrong.

Does a lot of things well but shooting the NBA 3 is not one of them. He is not a natural shooter and thus likely going to Europe.

Justin had a very nice first game
As usual, he filled up the box score - 20 min, 7 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals & 1 blocked shot
But, as Class of 72 stated, he was 0-3 from 3 point range
Great kid, hard worker, great motor and fantastic attitude
Hope he sticks but, due to the lack of a consistent outside shot, may need to go overseas
Best of luck, Justin!!!

Justin Simon really having a nice summer league for the Bulls., 9 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists in a win today.

Justin may or may not get himself a two way contract. But I guarantee the Bulls coaching staff will remember him as a guy who is a great teammate and gave it all he had. He'll do well in basketball and in life - one of my favorite Johnnies for sure!

Watching the Bulls game. This kid Gafford from Arkansas is looking impressive. May well make the team. Justin made a very nice pass for alley-oop dunk, but he's got an uphill battle to get a contract. Does all the right things except shoot the ball well.

Bulls lost by 12
Justin's line: 12 minutes, 0 pts (0-1 FG), 1 reb, 2 asst, 1 block, 1 turnover
Worst +/- rating of any player on either team (-15)
Justin and Shamorie clearly have skills but both have deficiencies and are not NBA ready
They're both headed to the G League or overseas

Congrats to @HofstraMBB Justin Wright-Foreman signing a two-way with the Jazz. Kid is already a sucess story, from getting hardly recruited to barely playing as a freshman, and now finding his way to the league. #hofmbb
